Visual Reinforcement Audiometry
Visual reinforcement audiometry is a behavioral hearing test that measures your child’s hearing using variations in sound intensity and pitch. 该测试测量7个月至2岁儿童的听力.5 years. During this test, your child sits on your lap or in a chair between two calibrated speakers or wears headphones. When a sound is presented, your child’s eye-shift or head-turn response toward the sound source is rewarded by lighting a toy mounted near the loudspeaker.
Play Audiometry
Conditioned play audiometry is another behavioral hearing test to assess hearing in children 2.5 – 5 years of age. 听力学家向你的孩子展示如何完成一个重复性的游戏任务, such as placing a peg in a pegboard, each time he or she hears a sound. Your Child's First Hearing Aid
Children can be fitted with hearing aids starting from 3 to 6 months of age. 在这个年纪，耳后助听器是孩子最好的选择. 耳后式助听器由两部分组成:

Many children have fun with their hearing aid options and choose devices and ear molds in a variety of colors and designs.
